Our Facilities

Our main hall is about 14m long by 8m wide, it has a side annexe with additional seating. Views of the main hall:

We have a small meeting room, which can be hired for a lower fee for smaller meetings. It also serves as a bar for larger events.

We have a well-equipped kitchen with a range cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. Also available are kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses.

We have plenty of tables (20 large, 20 small) and 130 chairs available for your event.

Our cloakrooms include facilities for the disabled and a baby-changing unit.

Rates of hire valid from 01/08/2022

MAIN HALL (classes, meetings) £12.50 per hour
PRE-HEATING (use of centrl heatiung prior to hiring) one hour free, then £2.50 per extra hour
COMMITTEE ROOM £8.00 per hour
KITCHEN £8.00 per hiring session
CHILDREN’S PARTY 3 hours £40.00
CHILDREN’S DISCO 3 hours £40.00
FUNCTIONS (Dances, Weddings, Shows, Family parties etc)
Whole Day 08:00 – 24:00 £165.00
08:00 – 18:00 £110.00
18:00 – 24:00 £95.00
After Midnight per hour £25.00
Twyford residents – 20% reduction in the above rates (except hall preheating)
  • Above rates include full use of furniture and available equipment.
  • All breakages, shortages and damage to hall artefacts to be paid for as per hire agreement supplied by VH hiring clerk.
  • As per contractual agreement, all facilities, hall areas and equipment to be left as found otherwise the £50.00 retention fee will be forfeited.
  • A £50 deposit must be paid in advance of the date of hire.
  • Please contact the Committee Chairperson if in doubt.
