We welcome back the amazing Chris Gumbley on saxophone and legendary Al Gurr on Piano. These two talented instrumentalists will reinvent some jazz classics and introduce you to some new tunes. Chris’s humour will keep you smiling throughout the night and Al’s ‘introduction’ to jazz for those who haven’t heard it, is hilarious!

Let’s Dance – Wednesdays 9:30am

Twyford Village Hall

(Temporarily suspended  – watch this space for the resumption date)

MOVEMENT CLASS FOR FRUSTRATED DANCERS!

If you love to dance but are feeling a bit rusty, or want to give something new a try, then this may be the class for you!

The main aim of the class is to facilitate a feeling of the joy of movement and dancing, for people, without it being too over-complicated.

The class will centre around simple, enjoyable, natural and gentle, yet expansive, movement sequences, set to great music. It will be based in a contemporary style (mainly “Release” technique) and will encompass both standing and floor-work.

Participants will be encouraged to make the class their own and to enjoy moving at their own level and pace. This will be a sociable class where the top priority is to have fun!

Participants should wear loose clothing which is suitable for moving in and be barefoot.

For those who wish to take advantage of the four week block booking price, the first four week block will begin on 23rd January.

Katharine is an experienced, approachable and sensitive teacher. Please feel free to give her a ring, or drop her an e mail if you would like further information about the class.
